There are two things required when creating Coffee & Muse. As we give tribute to our paper crafting muse hopefully our creative mjo will not leave anytime soon. Our May kit is filled to the brim with so many hot products from Prima and the Divine Collection by Jodie Lee, to Love is in the Air Collection by 7 Dots and the Collectible collection by My Minds Eye. A Little 13 Arts "Frosted Life"

Hey everyone!

Finally have time to blog a little bit!

Last night was my stepdaughters first prom and I was so excited to see her all dressed up with her prom date. Dad however, was a bit weary about the boy and had a hard time coming to terms that his first born is growing up so fast. In between teary eyes, I snapped a few pictures of the two. Of course  I got right to scrapbooking with them!

For this LO I used 13 Arts "Frosted Life" collection along with some other goodies from the Flying Unicorn store.

I started by taking the Moon Dust sheet and then punched it with my Lucky 8 Fancy Scroll punch. I saved the leftover 'outline' after punching which I used to frame my LO. Sometimes if I'm very careful it'll punch nice and clean and I'm able to save those but usually they rip. I then fussy cut some bricks from the Cold Brick Wall sheet.

Now I also did this LO for CT member Marilia's Make your Own Background Challenge in the FORUM.

I used a lid and some gesso to creat the circles on the bottom sheet. I then used stamping, masking, and Lindys' mists to create my background. I also pulled out my Sew Easy tool to do a little stitching. I also altered the Petaloo Flower Vines just a bit by misting some white on them to tone down the color.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to get creative this week!

And Introducing....

We are  thrilled to  introduce our favorite new Creative Designer to the Uni team

I got my start on Sept 1, 2010 as I was out playing in the yard enjoying the birds and squirrels. Really just  minding my own business. Happy. Content. Daydreaming.

When, but in an instant, I caught a movement in the corner of my eye. Since cats are noted for their superior vision, I had to do a double take because I thought my eyesight had failed me. I shut my kitty eyes for a moment and reopened them to disbelief.

A coyote? In MY yard? Could it be? And he's drooling my way? Move move move! Find my mom . Run to safety.

Big mistake! Really big mistake. Now she never lets me outside. Done - left to dream. ahhhhh but Kitty dreams really do come true.

But  wait -   Kitty  did  not  come  alone  ....  Kitty  brought

JENNIFER SNYDER to the Unicorn Team!!

I've been scrapping for several years but really started working on technique and detail within the 18 months. I am a gal who loves the whole tangible aspect of our beloved craft, from the pretty papers to hoarding ribbons and trims. My Husband , of only a few short, sweet years has been a great support for my scrapping passion. He never says anything when the boxes arrive in the mail, or when I come through the door with a shopping bag. He does roll his eyes though. I have found scrapping to be a hobby that can keep your mind active, youthful and refreshed.

Now  take  a  look at the   talent and  eye  candy that  Escape Kitty   (  okay and  Jen)  have  given the paper craft  industry    so  far  .... and  so much  more  to come !
