Hello all!
Today I am sharing a card tutorial and a layout I made using the most beautiful paper collection from UHK Gallery. "Monsieur". I love this paper. It's high quality and the colors are so soft and pretty.
I needed to make a card for a friends baby shower and I think this collection is perfect for it!

So grab a cup of tea..coffee or if you're like me, Pepsi and read on. I have linked supplies I have used below. You can find most in the Flying Unicorn store.
You will need:
Several sheets of UHK papers
Stamp of choice
Black ink
Circle cutter
Lace or ribbon
Kaisercraft Rose Wreath or other Chipboard circle frame
Alpha stickers
Liquid pearls
Prima resin embellies
Petaloo flowers
Prima Chalk Ink

I started with a 5x8 sheet of paper and scored it down the middle. I inked the edges with Prima Chalk ink.

Next I cut out 2 circles. One larger than the other. I then inked the edges of those as well.

A helpful tip that I learned from Delaina Burns to add the lace, is to use a craft knife, cut about 3/4 inch slit on the crease of the card. You may need to adjust the size depending on what lace/ribbon you are using.

Stamp the background of the card.

Adhere the circles as shown and thread the lace through. Keep it straight and then glue down. Cut off excess lace

Using a pencil or paintbrush, make 3 rolls of paper using left over scraps.

Ink up your chipboard frame

Adhere the frame to the card, then the rolled papers and top with Prima resin embellies.

Lastly add your flowers and alpha stickers for greeting. Top off with Liquid Pearls.

Another project I did was a layout using the same collection. This is my little grandson! I used lots of mixed media products which I will list at the end.
