Wedding layout using Retro Tapestry
Hello scrapping friends!
Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love a good photo. Doesn't matter if it's mine, yours, or someone elses..I'll scrap it! I've done layouts in the past of my friends weddings, kids, etc..and luckily none of them think it's weird..lol.
So I had to scrap this fabulous beautiful photo of my fabulous beautiful friend at her wedding. The papers in the Retro Tapestry kit from Swirlydoos went perfect with the flowers she's holding. It's not a traditional wedding layout, which is what I love about it.
I started by masking the paper, punching the edges and inked up some grungeboard. I used a Tim Holtz stamp in the bottom left corner and the tip on the top right hand corner to jazz up the paper a bit. Dusty Attic clock painted with Black dabber paint and used some beautiful mini roses bought at Alda's Flying Unicorn store.
Take a look:
Here are some close ups.
Thanks for stopping by scrappers!!! Hope you all have a blessed weekend!!
Till next time, Happy Scrappin!

New Fairy Layout using "Retro Tapestry" from Swirlydoos
Have you ever gone back and re did an old layout that you weren't too happy with? I know I do..especially when you know you have a fab pic to go along with some fab goodies!! When I saw the colors in the new Retro Tapestry kit from Swirlydoos, I thought it was perfect to do some Fairy layouts of my daughter. I know I've taken some of these photos and done layouts with them in the past, but I just had to redo at least one! The colors of the kit are so vibrant and perfect for her fairy photos. I used the Tim Holtz die cut for the fence, an TH embossing folder for the background paper behind the pic, a Dusty Attic swirly vine, and most of the flowers are from my stash, except the large blue one. The yellow vine is from Angelicas Etsy shop. I added some Websters netting with the larger blue rose and the Scrabble tiles are made using Lisa Gregory's tutorial on her blog. What fun those are!! The small white rose and light bluish flowers are from Alda Steven's Flying Unicorn Store. If you want some nice goodies..check out the links for all the blogs and stores.
