"So Original" **Swirlydoos Retro Tapestry Kit"

Wow...seems like I haven't blogged a new project forever! Christmas time is always so busy for me due to work and home..so I'm glad things are calming down a bit. We've been stuck at home since Wed night due to a blizzard, so between getting stuff done for work, I tried to get some mojo back and do some layouts with the new "Retro Tapestry" kit from Swirlydoos. It's jam packed with the most vibrant paper, flowers and embellies!! It sure did bring some "Springtime" into my day opening up the goodies!!

This layout is for Angelica's Butterfly Challenge at Swirlydoos. I love the challenges there...always gets the mojo going. For this project, I used my dd's pic of her imitating the lady from the vintage WWII poster, "We Can Do It!" Not sure how happy I am on how it turned out, but here it is anyway..lol
I used Lisa Gregory's Swirly Vines, found HERE at Swirlydoos. She has them in lots of colors too!! Most flowers are from the kit, cept the tiny roses around the frame, those are from Angelica's Etsy Shop. The smaller yellow flowers are from my stash. I also used the butterflies Lisa puts together for every kit.  There are LOTS of those too!!! Please come over and check em out!! I always print them out, use UTEE on them and then cover in Icicle Stickels.

Here are just a few close ups:

Thanks for dropping by and I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year!!
Till next time....Happy Scrappin!!
