February Round Robin @ Swirlydoos.."Things Remembered" Kit

It's hard to believe that it's February already and time for more monthly challenges at Swirlydoos! The Round Robin Challenge that Peggy hosts is so much fun. I have the first week this time..and loved working with the awesome paper and flowers that came with the new Swirly Feb. kit "Things Remembered". If you haven't tried a Swirly kit..I HIGHLY suggest you do. They are filled with the best of everything!

This is a picture of me and hubby at a Roaring 20's party. I printed the pic on cardstock in black and white first, used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink on it, glued it to another piece of cardstock to make it durable, covered with Modge Podge...let dry and distress..kinda fun. I saw it somewhere but can't think of where...but I like the effect. I placed a doily on the background paper, and for the flowers, I used Peach Glimmer Mist (with the kit) and Apple Glimmer Mist on the flowers. For the Prima bling, I separated it and sectioned it out. I cut the vines with my Cricut and of course Lisa G's wonderful butterflies which can be found HERE

Here are some close ups:

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate it so much! Till next time, Happy Scrappin!
