Websters **Spring Market**
Hi Scrapping Friends!
Thanks for stopping by and if you're looking for the giveaway..just scroll down to the next post!
I did a couple lo's using Websters new line Spring Market. One I did for a challenge at Inspire Me, hosted by Gerry Van Gent which you can find HERE.
It was to make a layout using a shaped background. I used Martha Stewarts Garden Gate punch around the edging and it wasn't easy to get the corners to match. They're still not perfect, and I really wish this punch was an "Around the Page" punch. It would of been so much easier.I did some cutting out of 2 other papers from the same line and added my Prima flowers. Pretty simple layout. Actually I don't even think I inked this at all..which is odd for me. I always use ink.
For the next one, I used the vellum sheet that came with the kit, and placed it over a sheet of another piece of the pattern paper. Used my new Ornamental Iron Cricut cartridge to cut a small gate which I added to the bottom of the pic, took some white trim I had and used some Glimmer Mist on it to color it green, and then added my flowers around it. I also used some butterflies that I cut from the new Bo Bunny Gabrielle line.
Don't forget about my Spring Cleaning Giveaway..winner to be announced on April 1st! Thanks again for popping over and till next time..Happy Scrappin!
