Hard to believe September is almost over! October is right around the corner which means the Flying Unicorn October Kit is coming soon!!

Here are a few sneak peeks to entice you to check out the new kit. I love the kits that Alda puts together. Not only do they have the newest papers and embellies, but it also comes with an Off The Page Project and each month they just keep getting better and better!!

New Prima and Pion Christmas

Hey scrappers!

Have good news today! The new Prima collections are now available at the Flying Unicorn Store! The papers are gorgeous! I did this layout using papers from the Pixie Glen collection. 

I couldn't get the photo exactly straight in my editing program, so I apologize for that..lol but you can see how cute these papers are. 

I made the cameo and if you are looking for the tutorial, you can find it HERE in the video section of the forum.

Also available at the store is the new Christmas line from Pion!! Thank goodness they came out with a Christmas line now because I have tons of cards to make. Since the holidays will be here before we know it, I made this album using papers from their collection. 

So if I were you, I would fly on over to the STORE and grab these before they are gone!! They're getting very popular! Did you know Flying Unicorn is one of the only stores that carry the Pion Paper lines??

Oh..and don't forget about our fabulous SCRAP-O-WEEN event coming October 1st and will last the whole month! Lots of daily games, challenges, prizes to be given away!! Hope to see you there!!

I've been anxious to see the newest issue of my favorite scrappy magazine, Enchanting Creations! This issue is full of wonderful ideas, inspirational creations, a parade of mini albums, techniques and tips! It has to be my favorite edition so far!! Did you know we have only been out a few months and already have over 5200 readers?? That is fantastic!! I think it shows how awesome this magazine really is!

It's On It's Way....

There is a briskness in the air. The landscape soon  to be colored with reds, browns and golden yellows. Before we know it, monsters goblins and  ghosts will be walking amongst us, even if  only for  a night.  And what  does  Flying Unicorn  have in store ... stay tuned ...

But for now..I'd like to share with you some Halloween ATC's I made for our SWAP in the FORUM at Flying Unicorn! This has been so fun to do! I love seeing everyone's different versions of them. I LOVE Halloween so when the sign-ups went out..I jumped on board!

I used two of the images from The Once Upon A Picture Group in the forum. I have one more set to make..and can't wait to get started!!

Cameo Tutorial

Hey everyone...here is the cameo tutorial part one and two! I had to split the video as it was too long to host on youtube. It's my first video so be kind..lol Hope you do learn something new tho! You can also view this in the Video Forum at Flying Unicorn as well as other great videos!!

Hope you try to make your own cameos soon. Don't forget I bought the molds at Mold Muse on Etsy. I love these because they need no pre treating at all!

"A Joy To Remember" September Kit Reveal and Guest Designer!!

Hello scrappy friends!!

The first of the month is always so exciting for us at Flying Unicorn because it means we finally get to share the beautiful kit of the month that Alda puts together for us!!

This months kit "A Joy To Remember" blows me away. It is SO versatile. The Off the Page Project is out of this world!! Take a look at what I've made 'so far' with this kit! I added some flowers from my own stash on a couple projects because I'm just a flower hog. Used butterflies from the fabulous Lisa Gregory and I made my own cameo.

 I took the Kaiser Craft Accordion Frame apart and used papers from the kit to make this:

The Off the Page Project is a 3 piece paint bucket kit..this is what I did with mine:
