Hat Week @ Flying Unicorn!

Hey everyone!  Are you ready for more fashion fun?!
This month at Flying Unicorn is all about fashion! So to celebrate our fashion sense, not only are we hosting our regular monthly challenges, but we're going above and beyond that and hosting 3-D weekly challenges and giving away even more prizes!
Tammy and Frank of our Creative Team, have teamed up together and have come up with this weeks fashion challenge with hats! They have been busy creating up a storm to give you some fabulous inspiration with hats! They have 2 for you to try out and have fun with!!

All you need is paper, scissors, glue and embellies too!! Tammy found a awesome video tutorial on the steampunk hat. It was posted on the G45 blog done by the awesome Laura de la Rosa. You will find the link here. Also there will be files added to the Files section of the Flying Unicorn site to print out as well. Here is Tammy and Frank's inspiration with this hat!

Tammy searched around and was very disappointed to find no other hats that would do for this challenge. So she came up with one of her own. The file for this one will also be found in the file section of the site to print out. Only extra supply you will need will be a x-acto knife and a cutting mat.  Here is some inspiration for this as well.

  2. I wanted to take a moment, while there's a break in the activity, to thank you for posting this blog and links. Normally, I leave my love of this level paper artistry to simply oohing and aahing. However, about an hour after doing just that, my young son (not even five) decided Mr. Potato Head needed a hat. I showed him the top hat tutorial and he wanted to make one immediately. He's having fun with the creativity. Thank you for that.
