As I was thinking about what I wanted to do for this week's PDT, I came across this canvas that my daughter had worked on. (she was making it for a school project) Well, she messed it up so she was going to throw it out, and I said NO! LOL I can reuse that right?? So I decided to do a revamp of this canvas today!

The supplies used:
13 arts Paints
13 arts Water Ink
13 arts Micro beads
13 arts Black Gesso
Golden clear gel
Darice Hemp cord
First I covered the canvas with several coats of gesso.
Since I wanted a black canvas, I added 13 arts Black Gesso to it.
Now for the really fun part! Using 13 arts Water Ink, in Turquoise, I added random squiggles with the dropper.
I added until I was happy with it
I then did the same with the Water Ink in Pink
Add the Golden gel in random places-this is where you will add your microbeads
Next cut up several pieces of hemp cord. Dip a string into the paint.
Again, randomly 'slap' your string all over your canvas. Re-dip in paint as needed. Do this with all your colors. Cover until you're happy with it.
When you have gotten the look you want, take the strings and redip in the paint. Drop them on your canvas and let them lay where they fall. Let Dry.
Next, I took a light coat of Modge Podge and covered my canvas. This helps seal the strings and beads into place. Let dry.
To embellish the canvas I added some cheesecloth-and then added my photo.
I finished it up by adding some flowers from my stash and other embellies from the Flying Unicorn Store!
