Love Prima Layout and Swirly Mini

I am SO happy and overjoyed that my grandson has finally graced us with his presence. I know his mom never thought he'd get here, but he came into the world on March 9th and has changed all of our lives for the better! He is the most adorable, love bug and we all love him so very much!

So of course, as soon as his mom texted me his first outfit pic in the hospital, I just had to scrap it!

I used new Prima paper and goodies from the Reflections Collection for this layout. My favorite LSS Scrap Trap just got this line in!! I got the idea to paint the Prima felt piece/fence idea from Ingvild Bolme Sweet Little Angel LO.  I dabbed the brown piece with Snow White Dabber Paint before cutting it in half. Look at her example HERE. It is truly beautiful!!

I added a little Tim Holtz Prince Crown, Prima Flowers, and some Tim Holtz Grungeboard hinges, and a Dusty Attic fence which I cut in half and dabbed with the white paint.
I also have been working on a Kaisercraft mini album for the little guy! When my son was little, his favorite thing to do was to dance with me to some Frank Sinatra or Harry Connick Jr, so I wanted to incorporate a song in this album somewhere for my son's new baby boy. I won't add them all because they're still a few pages I want to add some finishing touches on..but here it is.

The cool thing about this album is that all the paper and some other goodies are from left over kits from Swirlydoos! Awesome that I could use left over paper from different kits and it still blended so well!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great weekend and get creative!! Happy Scrappin!
