Today I'm sharing a quick post about some of the creations I made using the new September Kit of the Month "50 Shades of Summer" from Flying Unicorn!
I love this kit! It is one of my faves so far! It is packed with beautiful papers from Kaisercraft, Melissa Frances and 13 Arts. The OTP is a Tim Holtz Assembly Clock and it was oh so fun to make!
I'll share my Clock first. I did a video sharing how I made it on Flying Unicorn's You Tube channel.
I used Gesso, Dazzlerz, Lindy's Alpine Rose Mist , Scrap FX chipboard and Prima and Petaloo flowers on this clock.
Here are some close ups- I love how the texture turned out
This first LO I did, I chose to use some of the Melissa Frances papers from both the Paper Add on and the Main KOM.
The triangle mask that is in the kit is awesome and I used Studio 490 Embossing Paste for texture. The butterflies is actually a die cut from a previous kit that I use as a mask. I love the Ingvild Bolme Pastel Violet Chalk that's in the Embellishment Add on. It's just so pretty on paper!
This next LO I did for my Time Flies Challenge in the Flying Unicorn Forum.
The last one is one I'm not too sure if I am crazy about..it was one of those times where you had a good idea..and it went totally in a different direction! I know you know what I mean..I think that happens to all of us one time or another..lol
I chose the Kaisercraft True Romance, Daydream and Faithful papers along with some Melissa Frances "At First Blush" paper.
I started by using some of the Fabric Paper from the Embellishment Add On Kit and cut a circle out for the background. I then used embroidery floss to design a grid on that. Now that I look at it, I should of not used the mask I used..I would of chosen a different one...but I did use Studio 490 Embossing Paste and some Tutti Frutti Dazzlerz with my Prima Mask.
Flying Unicorn does not require you to sign up for a membership to be able to get a kit-so be sure to grab yours before they are gone!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Scrappin!
