For those of you who know me, I rarely enter challenges but I just had to play along with this months Creative Embellishments April Challenge!
The mood board just drew me in! So fun and I wanted to do it which was really odd as I'm not a bright bold colored scrapper by any means! But I do love yellows and pinks so I decided to play!
The inspiration is sort of a birthday theme because they're celebrating several birthdays this month! You can interpret the mood board anyway you feel, using colors, shapes, whatever strikes your fancy.
You also have to use at least four of the following and I put a * by the ones I used in my LO.
Straws/rolled paper
trims- ribbon, lace, bakers twine or hemp
doodle
*enamel dots or buttons
*mist/paint
*Texture paste, gesso
*A handmade flower
embossing- dry or heat
Bling- Rhinestones or pearls
A flourish

Here is my LO. I used Creative Embellishments Fern Frond Set 3 which I painted up with some Gesso, Dylusions Mists, and Paint Dabbers.The pull out tag was hand written by my daughter when she was 9. It reads:
"Happiness is a circus,
I see the small and large toys.
I smell the pink cotton candy.
I see the pretty elephants blowing.
I touch the pony's mane."
The challenge at C.E. goes on every month and you have until the last day of the month to enter!
