 Hey scrappers!

Just wanted to share a lo I did using some yummy Fabscraps from the Flying Unicorn Store.
I had did a lo using this picture before using Fabscraps but I spilled my drink on it and of course ruined most of it..so I pulled off the picture and my Fabscraps papers and started again.

I used 3 layers of pp on it and using my Distrezz it All and Lucky 8 punch, I made the base of my lo. Of course masking, inking and stamping to jazz up the background a bit is a must! I love the chicken wire mask from Crafters Workshop! It's really fun to work with! Here are some close ups of the layout. I was lucky enough to have the chippies on the other lo not get too wet. Thank goodness for flowers because you can always cover up those mistakes!!

I wanted to use the same title as the previous lo also, so I turned up a corner at the bottom and added the title there.
A small part of the pic got wet but you can't tell due to the gorgeous flowers!
I also added some rubon words through out my layout and did a bit of doodling around the picture and papers.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hop on over to the Flying Unicorn store to pick up some Fabscraps of your own and get creative!!

New Riddersholm Desgins

Hey everyone!

This month at the Flying Unicorn, we are spotlighting Riddersholm Designs. I find Riddersholm to be some of the finest quality papers out there and the new collections are amazing!!

For this LO I used papers from the Flea Market and Huntington Garden Collections..available at the Flying Unicorn Store. I also used the Mojo Monday Sketch designed by CT member Tracey.

Here is the sketch:

Here is what I created:
I started by taking bubble wrap and spritzing it with some mist which I then used for my pattern on the paper. I also had the DA piece from the sketch but I cut it up to use in different areas. Did some random stamping with distress inks and distressed my edges as well.

I used some of the 'cut out's for my title
My flower cluster is made of some older flowers I had...which I added white paint to. This is also where I used most of the branches from the Dusty Attic piece.

Come on by the Mojo monday thread in the forum, join us and get creative!

August Off the Page Canvas

Hey all!! Here I am..as promised to share my OTP projects from the August kit with you!

These were the most fun..creative OTP I've done for myself in a while..don't get me wrong..I LOVE the OTP projects Alda puts together..but this one really pushed me to 'think' a little out of my zone and get more creative!! I loved it!

I totally knew what I wanted to try when I opened up the OTP and found these 4 canvases in there. I had been so inspired by Gabrielle Pollacco's canvas she did that I had to do one..or 4 of my own!! Click HERE to see her beautiful work!!I follwed her video and used her templates to make these. She got inspired to do hers by a book Collage Couture by Julie Nutting. I will definatley have to pick that up!!

I printed the templates off 5x7 to fit the canvas. I used Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden and Bo Bunny Little Miss for the papers. Did lots of modge podge, stamping, and masking..SO fun!! Here are some close ups
