I've been so so busy with work, having a sick child and being sick myself that it seemed as if I had no time to scrap. My scrappin friend Maggi challenged everyone over at Sisterhood of Scrap to a PBA (Paper Bag Album) Challenge. I just had to join in on that one! Love mini albums!
I made this one for my dear friend Tanys. Actually she's like a daughter to me and her parents are wonderful friends....we are all more like family. Tanys takes great photos and does fab editing, so I decided to give this to her.
The cover is my fave. I used UTEE on the hinges after inking them with Rust Alcohol ink. I made the large maroon flower..using the technique from Lisa Gregory's blog. I love the little Jesus fish charm too. It's so Tanys.
For the first page, I made a flower out of twine. Saw it somewhere but can't remember who I got the idea from! But hers was really cute. I think it may have been Ingrid on sb.com?? I used Grungeboard butterfly wings, covered in Picket Fence Crackle paint.
Some other pages. Has a pocket with a pull out tag that she can write her fav things on.
Loved using some more Grungeboard. I really like to use alot of elements and textures. I thought maybe this album could of had more, but I wanted to also keep it simple enough so she'd like it.
I also used some really pretty netting from a nice RAK from Maggi.
And some more handmade flowers from coordinating pp.
Well...I'm glad you stopped by and took the time to check it out! Hope you all get some inspiration from something I've shared with you.
Have a great week and till next time...Happy Scrappin!!
