This is a layout I did for the Thursday Sketch Challenge at Pages in Time.
One of our lovely DT members..Alda, creates beautiful sketches each week and then Karen host a contest on the PIT Blog. It's pretty awesome to see everyone's takes on the sketches. There are some pretty talented ladies that participate!!
I got some awesome new Tim Holtz paper from a dear friend. Vintage Shabby it's called..it's really pretty!!
I made the white flower using Lisa Gregory's technique she shared on her blog.
I made the pink gingham flowers using techniques shared by both Alda in her Technique Tuesday Group at PIT and also from Gabrielle Pollacco's blog. Both are wonderful at sharing how to make beautiful flowers!!
I used my new Serenade cartridge to make the tree and swirl. Which I covered with Pesto Distress Alcohol Ink.
I hope you consider joining us for the Thursday Sketch Group!! You can also check out the sketches every week at the PIT Blog.
And don't forget about our Beat the Rush Crop!!! Click on the picture at the top of my blog..going to be LOADS of fun!!
Till next time, Happy Scrappin!!
