Flying Unicorn BAP with Maggi

Hey crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing a layout I did for a Build A Page tutorial by Creative Team Member Maggi at Flying Unicorn.

Maggi has such a way with her layouts and she really is one of my favorite scrappers! She can rock a Vintage layout like no other!! I also did this lo for her "Something Old, Something New" Challenge in the forum. We have LOTS of fun challenges this month with some very awesome RAK's to give away so I hope you find time to join us!

So with her directions she shared, I made this layout using Meg's Garden papers from the Flying Unicorn Store. I love how Flying Unicorn specializes in hard to find papers that you can't seem to get anywhere else. Meg's Garden is truly beautiful and the designs on their papers are so dreamy.

I used a DA vine which I cut into three pieces after I painted it with Sea Kelp Glimmer Glaze. I then added some gesso with my fingertip and swiped it over the leaves. I made two of the lighter pink flowers using my McGill Dogwood Punch. The rest of them are from this months kit, other than the tiny white dark pink ones, which I got at Wal Mart in the craft section.

Here are a few close ups

I hope you fly on over to the FORUM and join us in some fun challenges!! And don't forget about our Blog Hop on July 2nd!! We're giving away a Vagabond!!!! How cool is that??

Till next time...Happy Scrappin!!
